GAMALIEL COUNCIL
OF PRESIDENTS MEETING
May 20, 2008
This meeting begins at the Marriott Hotel near Midway Airport with
a continental breakfast at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
The presence of every local organization president at this meeting is so
important that the Gamaliel Foundation will bear the cost of
transportation to and from this event.

The agenda includes:
- Presidential reports on an accomplishment, a struggle, or an issue of their organization.
- Gamaliel National Table developments: CRI, AALC, GNCC and ILA.
- Organizing money through an Individual Donor Campaign, a Methodical Grants Strategy, and by making dues significant.
- Faith and Democracy campaign tools, issue frames, political power, public meetings, ILA.
- Proposal to make health care a national issue.
- Organizer recruitment and development.
- Inclusion and Racial Equity report summary and discussion.

We need your help CONNECTING!
During our Faith and Democracy Campaign we need to be able to
share:
Our progress in spiritual conversations and how hope is
stirring in our congregations as we bring leaders to training and our
core teams become stronger.
At this stage we need to be able to share our plans for our issue
campaigns and our plans for voter education and getting people to the
polls. We need to help each other if we are to see a A CHANGE IN
NATIONAL PRIORITIES. In the Faith and Democracy Campaign we are praying,
hoping, and working for national policies that reflect the values of our
National Platform.
To make sure that we can connect and share, we are asking each
Gamaliel President to bring their Gamaliel Affiliate
Leadership Directory with them to the May Council of Presidents
Meeting.
