How to Add a Picture to a Webpage

  1. In MS Internet Explorer navigate to the page where you want to add a picture.
  2. Click the edit button (Front page will load, then your page will load.)
  3. Place the cursor where you want to picture to appear on the page.
  4. Click on the "insert" button.
  5. Click on Picture.
  6. Choose the picture source.
  7. Navigate to the picture.
  8. Highlight the picture
  9. Click on the insert button.

Once the picture appears on your page there are a number of things you can do with it:

You can use the picture tool bar (view / toolbars/ pictures.) You should read about the tool bar in the help menu.

There is a workable picture editor in FrontPage....  (Tools/ Options/ Configure will get you on your way) You may have to enable it. Once enabled it will load your picture when you double click it.

There are also tools under the format button. Make sure the picture is clicked before clicking the format button.
