Video Some of the resources of gamaliel.org are available only to those who have been given permission. The entry portal is called the LEADER RESOURCE CENTER. Permission is granted to members of the Gamaliel Organizing Staff and members of Gamaliel Leadership Tables and other identified leaders. Only one user name and password will be necessary to access these resources. The table leader will determine access. e.g. A territory director determines who will participate in the territory table. Those who are experiencing difficulty entering the LEADER RESOURCE CENTER may complete the request help form. (Link to form) SharePoint Services MS SharePoint services are being deployed at gamaliel.org. This is collaboration software that allows members of our organizing and leadership tables to work together online. When Gamaliel recommended software is installed on a leader or organizer computer working together is simple. Many things are possible: Organizing Staff and Presidents have access to Gamaliel document Libraries that support the organizing and sustaining of faith based community organizations. Table members may collaborate on MS Word, MS publisher, MS XL, and MS PowerPoint documents. There are several methods for reviewing documents are sharing ideas for changes. Table members may ask to receive an automatic e-mail Alert from SharePoint when changes have been made to various documents and lists. We will be using the Leader Resource Center to collect the pictures (format for the web or for e-mail please) and documents we need to publish Gamaliel Foundation News Letters and other publications. We hope that leaders will share news releases and copies of their press coverage. Table members may use the Contact list to share their contact information. This contact information is imported from Microsoft Outlook and updated to a folder in your OUTLOOK 2003. A Leadership table can use the Task List to track the progress toward their goals. They can create and participate in multiple threaded discussions. This will be a good way to collect information and ideas that will move a project forward. Survey's may be designed and used to collect informaton from table members. Any one may post an announcement of interest to the table. Information about coming team event may also be included. Members may also share their favorite links with one another. As time goes on our organizing and leadership tables will be able to configure their SharePoints to fit their agendas. |
