Your Vote Is Your Voice

Vote November 4, 2008

Here are some tools you can use to support your
Core Team's "Register, Educate, Vote" initiative.

These materials are offered only as a starting place. Because Gamaliel is a learning organization, they are rooted in what we learned in "Rolling Thunder and in the past election." We are still learning and looking for Core Team Actions that work. If your core team learned something that worked write it up and submit it. Shared Documents (permission required)

"Register, Educate, Vote" Buttons These buttons can be made locally or sent to a button maker to duplicate in large quantities.

Bulletin Insert: "Vote" Use this insert on the Sunday before the election. Again, you may want to consider inviting a leader to give a temple talk using this insert as a guide.
Register to Vote in your State This is a link of the Federal Election Commission document on Voter Registration. It contains a voter registration form and the state rules. It is a long document!

There is a public official in your county who will give you printed forms to use in your campaign.

They may be eager to come to your congregation or organization to educate about the election process in your state and local area.

A call to the county court house may give you the contact information.
