Building Communities
A key component of Gamaliel’s mission is to assist local community leaders to create, maintain and expand independent, grassroots, and powerful faith-based community organizations so that ordinary people can impact the political, social, economic, and environmental decisions that affect their lives.
In addition to national trainings, Gamaliel provides ongoing consultations with monthly visits, weekly phone meetings and hands-on participation in the strategic planning process of each member organization. We also offer research and analysis on social justice issues, as well as a network for mutual learning environments and working coalitions.
