  • City of Lockport Passes Local Hiring Ordinance!
    On October 8th, the City of Lockport passed a local hiring ordinance that NOAH has been pushing for.

  • Many children in Niagara Falls are without a safe place to play. NOAH is excited to announce that through work with the Memorial Park Block Club, the City and the Niagara Falls School Board, there is now a new park next to South Junior High.

Thank you to the Mayor and City Council of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Falls School Board and the Department of Public Works for working with us to make this park a reality!

Park Update!
On Nov. 16, 2009, the City of Niagara Falls broke ground on the new South Junior Park!



Mayor Dyster, Councilman Walker and the Department of Public Works joined representatives of NOAH and the Memorial Park Block Club for this exciting event.

2009 Public Meeting
Thank you to everyone who took part in the Oct 22, 2009 Public Meeting with NOAH, VOICE-Buffalo, PUSH and the WNY Coalition for Regional Economic Revitalization.
It was a historic event with four organizations from across Western New York coming together around a single cause!

Special thanks to Niagara Falls City Councilman Charles Walker for committing to working with NOAH around the City's Local Hiring Resolution
