Organizer Job Opening

WISDOM, a congregation-based social justice organization in Wisconsin seeks professional organizers to work with established, growing organizations in Eau Claire, La Crosse, Racine and Kenosha.  Full-time organizers are sought, though consideration could be given to part-time possibilities.

Successful applicants will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to build an organization among lay and clergy congregation members of very diverse religious, ethnic and social backgrounds.  Applicants must be good listeners with the ability to build consensus and motivate people to act on behalf of their own interests.  Applicants must be able to drive, to work some weekends and evenings, with occasional long hours and some overnight stays out of town.  Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Starting salary will depend on experience, with possibility of significant increases within the first year.
