A Message from the CUSH President:

Greetings Members and Friends of CUSH,

In January, I was honored to accept the role of president of this wonderful organization.  CUSH is nine congregations strong and growing.  Our strength, however, does not come from our congregations alone.  Our supporters include sustaining members from other congregations who are actively engaged in our work, and our strength also comes from the relationships we have built in our community.  Justice work can be challenging, and it takes all of us working together to bring about needed change.  As people of faith, we have a responsibility to accept that challenge.  President Obama has stated:  "Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time.  We are the ones we've been waiting for.  We are the change that we seek."

I am thankful for the opportunity to be a member of CUSH; to come together with people of faith; to work together for the benefit of our community.  I invite others who are interested in promoting social justice in our community and beyond to join us in our efforts.

Thank you for your support and many blessings to you all.
