ABLE ISSUES QUESTIONNAIRE
ABLE is planning a large Public
Meeting with local, state, and national politicians on Sunday, October
28 from 3:30 - 5:00 pm at Cascade United Methodist Church.
Earlier this month an ABLE Issues Questionnaire was e-mailed and mailed
to member congregations and organizations. Each congregation and
organization was asked to have their members complete the questionnaire.
These questionnaires will be
used to determine which issues we will be addressing at the Public
Meeting. The Issues Committee will meet to compile the survey
results before the August 28 Leadership Meeting. Please deliver
your surveys and a summary to the office at First Iconium Baptist Church
no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, August 27.

was to select the three issues of greatest concern. If you have any questions, contact

ABLE
LEADERSHIP MEETING ON AUGUST 28th
ABLE exists
to identify leaders, and then nurture, train, and develop those leaders
so that together their voices can be heard. We meet monthly
on the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.
This month we will be focusing on the Public Meeting and hearing
updated reports from the various committees. We encourage everyone
to attend so you can hear about your congregation's or organization's
responsibilities for the public meeting and join the established
committees.
Congregations and
organizations are encouraged to send seven or more individuals who are
interested in developing their leadership skills to the ABLE Leadership
Meeting on Tuesday, August 28 at 7:00 PM at First Iconium Baptist Church, 542
Moreland Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30316. Note that this month's meeting
will be in Room 104 in the East Building. Please come!
