leave time to balance their
commitments as an employee and a
caregiver. The Parent
Protection Act, Georgia House
Bill 901, sponsored by Rep.
Roger Bruce (District 64) & Rep.
Margaret Kaiser (District 59)
will provide families with that
flexibility, by providing
workers with 24 hours of unpaid,
job protected leave a year so
that employees can:

Attend school conferences,
or
-
Go to their own medical
appointments, or to take a
child, parent or spouse to
medical appointments, such
as checkups or immunizations
