ABLE Leadership Meeting on February 27th

to Kick Off ABLE’s 2007 Strategic Plan!!!

 

ABLE/Gamaliel exists to identify leaders, and then nurture, train, and develop those leaders so that together their voices can be heard.

 

Congregations and organizations are encouraged to send two or more individuals who are interested in developing their leadership skills to the ABLE Leadership Meeting on Tues. Feb. 27 at 7:00 PM at First Iconium Baptist Church, 542 Moreland Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30316.

 

Greg Galluzzo, Executive Director of the Gamaliel Foundation, will be visiting from Chicago and will share his vision for a powerful grassroots organization to work for justice in our region.  Everyone is welcome!

We are making news!  ABLE Leaders attended a National Immigration Summit in Washington, D.C. and met with members of the Georgia Congressional Delegation. During a face to face meeting with Senator Saxby Chambliss, ABLE Leaders got his support for Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

At the local level ABLE held Issues Forums on Education, Healthcare, Beltline Development,  Economic Gap, Affordable Housing and Immigration.  Join us on Tuesday, February 27th for more action planning!
