REGISTER, EDUCATE AND VOTE NOVEMBER 4, 2008
People are disenfranchised at the voting booth these days in many ways. It can be something very simple, like moving, or getting married and not registering to vote at your new address or with your new name. Some may be in danger of losing their right to vote because they are not properly registered. Others may disenfranchised because they do not know what to do if someone attempts to deny their right to vote.
Our message is short and simple.
Please make sure that you, your family, your friends and all the
people in your congregation, who are eligible to vote - REGISTER
and VOTE.
We know you share this conviction that voting is an important responsibility of citizenship, therefore, we ask you to do two things:
This is very important because these days it often appears that public policy is at war with our core values, and that these core values do not inform the actions of those who represent us in our local communities, in our states, and in Washington. It is critical that every citizen remember:
Your Vote Is Your Voice! Value Your Vote and Vote Your Values!
If you need resources to support your "register, educate, and get out the vote" effort you will find them at Gamaliel Votes Resources.
